ATCs and Greeting Cards

One of my tasks last spring was to make a dream list, 100 things I’d like to accomplish. It sounds a bit daunting to come up with that many items, but it was made easier by breaking it down into twelve different categories. Under the “creative” heading, I stated I wanted to make 365 greeting cards in the period of one year. Additionally, I wanted to find an online group for Artist Trading Cards (ATCs).

I found the ATC group: www.atcsforall.com. I’m having a blast creating these small, 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ pieces of art.

Now, it’s time to move on to the 365 Challenge. This is not a card a day challenge; I know that’s not likely to happen. Instead, it’s all about meeting the 365 goal in a year’s time.

Stay tuned to see what I create. I’ll describe the tools I use and try to explain any out-of-the-ordinary techniques I tackle.
