Thank You Card

My project today was thank you cards. I needed more than just a couple, so it was important to design it in a way that would be easy to create in an assembly line process. I chose stamps that were solid, so that I did not have to any hand coloring.

The first image I stamped was a loose weave texture, for the background, using a light grayish-green. The next image was leaves, stamped in olive. The third image is what I used in the center of the card. A flower, I used olive for the stem and a rusty orange for the flower.

Using the same orange colored paper, I stamped “grateful” in black. I used an oval shape punch and placed it at the bottom right of the stamped image using the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. A stamped sentiment inside the card, along with some hemp twine along the spine and the card was done. The presentation really isn’t complete until the envelope is decorated, so the loose weave texture with the leaf stamp on the side finished the project.
